The fair is open to students in grades 4-12 in public, parochial or home-based schools in Boyd, Carter, Elliott, Greenup, and Lawrence Counties, KY as well as counties outside of the FIVCO region that do not have a district fair available to attend. Students may participate by entering a school fair and progressing to the ACTC/FIVCO Fair if selected as a representative of the school. Each school may submit the following number of projects based on grade category:
Thursday, January 23, 2020 - Fair Set Up (MANDATORY)
8:00am - noon and 1:00pm - 5pm Project Setup
Friday, January 24, 2020 – Fair Judging
9:00 - 9:30 Check In
9:30 - 9:45 Official SEF KICK OFF
9:45 - 10:45 Project judging as assigned (Students must remain with their projects.)
11:00 - noon Student activity/ entertainment
Noon - 12:30 Lunch & Open House
12:30 - 1:30pm Awards Ceremony
Snow Day Procedures
In the event of inclement weather and the original Fair date is cancelled, the Fair will be rescheduled for Friday, January 31, 2020. Students and Teachers registered for the Fair will be notified of cancellation via the email provided upon registration.
